Huayruro Seeds Necklace

A teardrop/marquise-shaped bezel setting in oxidized .950 sterling silver. The bezel edge is finished with a hand-twisted rope wire border — that classic Peruvian braided detail. Inside the setting sit what appear to be Huayruro seeds — the iconic red-and-black sacred seeds from the Amazon region of Peru. The seeds are set together in a cluster, their natural segmented surface visible through the setting, creating a mosaic of deep red with dark dividing lines.

No two pendants are identical. Because the seeds are natural and hand-arranged, the pattern of red and black inside each pendant is the artisan’s fingerprint — yours will belong to no one else
